SilverTung SMS Campaign Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 19, 2026

These SMS Campaign Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern text message (SMS) communications sent by participating law firms through the SilverTung platform, operated by LegalTek (d/b/a SilverTung) (“SilverTung,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), as part of their secure client document-intake process. By providing your mobile number and verbally consenting to receive these messages, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Program Description

This program sends transactional, non-marketing text messages to individuals who have engaged a participating law firm and verbally consented to receive them. Messages are limited to: (a) a one-time link to a secure page for uploading documents related to your case, and (b) a one-time verification code confirming your identity before that page can be accessed. Messages are sent only in connection with an active, individual case and are never used for advertising or marketing.

2. How to Opt In

Enrollment is verbal only. When you call a participating law firm to inquire about your case, firm staff will describe this program, disclose message frequency and that message and data rates may apply, provide HELP and STOP instructions, and ask for your explicit consent before enrolling your mobile number. No other opt-in method (web form, keyword text, QR code, etc.) is used for this program.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by case and is typically limited to a small number of messages tied to a specific request, such as one message containing a secure upload link and one message containing a verification code.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile carrier and plan. SilverTung and participating law firms are not responsible for any charges billed to you by your mobile carrier.

5. How to Get Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact your law firm directly.

6. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of future text messages. You may also opt out verbally or in writing at any time by contacting your law firm directly. Once you opt out, we will honor your request and stop sending text messages, though your law firm may still contact you by email, mail, or phone regarding your case. Opting out does not affect your legal representation.

7. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator, and your carrier is not responsible for undelivered or delayed messages.

8. Supported Carriers

This program is intended for use on major U.S. wireless carriers. Availability may vary by carrier and device.

9. Privacy

Your information is handled in accordance with our SMS Campaign Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these SMS Terms by reference. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will notify enrolled recipients of material changes as required by applicable law and update the “Last Updated” date above.

11. Contact

For questions about this program, contact your law firm directly, or reach SilverTung through the support portal on our website.
